City of American Canyon - NEW Business License Application

 
What you need to know to get started.


1. Business Licenses are renewed on a calendar year basis. 

2. Business start date is the first date your business started in the City of American Canyon. 

3. Tax payer identification number is REQUIRED.  
    Sole owner are required to provide social security numbers or ITIN
    Partnerships, Corporations, LLC, and Limited Partnerships are required to provide a FEIN.

4. If the business is located in the City of American Canyon you must also file a 
    Zoning Clearance Form if the business is located in a Commercial or Industrial site
    or
    Home Occupation Permit Form if the business is located in a residential home. The links to these forms are included on the application page. 

5. Payment is required after your application is accepted and before your license is issued. 
    You will receive an email verifying the receipt of application. 
    Within 2 business days you will recieve an email containing the amount due and instructions how to make payment on-line. 
    Businesses located in American Canyon must be approved prior to issuance.

Per AB 2184, you may protect your residential address by providing a different Service of Process address in accordance with Sections 16000.1(a)(2)
and 16100.1(a)(2) of the Business and Professions Code. To do so, please Apply in person - you may not apply online.
